Ileys Community Association is a dynamic grassroots community organisation working with the local community in the West Midlands. Ileys was established in 2007 to meet the needs of the growing refugee population in the West Midlands.
Our Mission
The profile of Somali communities in the UK is of high unemployment, poverty and low educational attainment, studies and research carried out all over the UK have identified the Somali community as one of the most disadvantaged communities in Britain. Ileys Community Association was borne out of the collective will of the local Somali community to address these issues and provide tailored services for the community
