Training And Courses

The biggest need/demand is for classes in English Language, as the majority of our community language is a barrier in many aspects. The main obstacle to providing these classes is funding.

We have run courses in English language, from Beginners courses to formal ESOL. These have ranged from 6 – 12 weeks. As the majority of people attending these classes are women, so we have arranged child care provision alongside the classes.

For some of these classes we had funding via Sandwell Consortium’s, Step Programme and Talking Together Time Bank.

We also held one class in Health and Social Care Level 3.15 individuals successfully completed the course. This course was delivered in partnership with Beacon Education Partnership Ltd.

At present we have a waiting list of individuals wanting to attend English Classes and Health & Social Care Course.
